Best & Less have just launched their new Autumn/Winter range for their Baby Berry line of clothing and I was lucky enough to attend the launch event in Sydney and have a sneak peek of what’s on offer in this “Wild @ Heart” collection. This was my first attendance at a fashion launch so I was soooo excited to see how it all went down. The launch was held at The Studio in Rosebery and even though I accidentally misdirected the taxi driver (darn you unreliable maps app) I made it! With drinks on arrival and healthy canapé options I felt spoilt! Too bad I had to go back to work after the event.
I was also able to meet and catch up with some of Sydney’s favourite mums and insta accounts. There’s just something so nice about meeting the faces behind the insta accounts that you scroll through every day. Now, enough about the event, let’s talk the fashion!
This season, it’s all about textures. From waffles, corduroy, faux fur to velvet, you’ll have to stop yourself from stroking each and every piece. There are also lots of bold, wild themed prints – you can’t go wrong with jungle animals and leopard prints. You’ll see my fave lion print tracksuit further down. Colours this season feature lots of warm mustard and earth tones as well as jewel toned blues and pinks. There’s plenty of unisex options too. I was seriously in awe of all the options available, from basic onesies to more formal dresses and outfits. You’ll easily be able to dress your child this season!
Being a boy mama, it’s hard to find gorgeous outfits for the boys that are still affordable. The Baby Berry range changes that. The options range from $3 to $40. Bargain! While the main sizing range is 0 – 18/24 months, there’s also some great outfits in the 3-6 year old range.
My pick for Theo is the lion print jumper (it has a matching track pant too) and for Harry I loved the dinosaur puffer jacket with the contrasting mustard zip. Perfect for layering with a mustard sweater or top.
Best & Less have come a long way in the last few years. I absolutely love how on trend the Baby Berry range is – the designs are inspired by the latest European fashions. Best & Less have also made it onto the Oxfam Nice list, meaning that their clothing is ethically sourced.
